Information Minister at Tripoli Forum on Gov Communication

Tripoli, Dec.11 (SANA) Minister of Information, Hamza al-Mustafa, took part Thursday in the activities of the “Tripoli Forum for Government Communication,” held as part of the “Tripoli Media Days” agenda hosted by the Libyan capital.

The Minister attended sessions of the forum that addressed key issues in developing government communication, strengthening official media tools to build trust with the public, and the role of strategic communication in consolidating the stability of states.

Minister al-Mustafa also participated in a panel discussion titled “Arab Media and the Centrality of the Palestinian Cause.”

Al-Mustafa explained how the deposed regime used slogans at the expense of the Palestinian cause to oppress its own people, stressing the need to free slogans from political exploitation.

Syria’s participation in the event comes within the Ministry of Information’s approach to enhancing Arab cooperation, exchanging technical and professional expertise, learning from experiences in managing communication content and developing media policies that serve the new phase in Syria.
