Meghan & Harry Mark Dodgers Win with Love

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry packed on the PDA while celebrating after the Los Angeles Dodgers triumphed over the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series.

On Saturday, the Dodgers became back-to-back World Series champions when they defeated the Blue Jays in the 11th inning of Game 7. In a video shared on her Instagram Story, Markle, 44, and Harry, 41, were seen watching the game’s conclusion with the former “Suits” actress’s friend Kelly Mckee Zajfen.

In the black and white clip, which appeared to be taken inside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s private theater room, Harry and Zajfen were seen sitting in chairs while Markle was heard shrieking excitedly off camera.

Markle was then seen cheering and crying out “Oh my God!” as she walked over to Harry’s chair and planted a kiss on his lips while Zajfen clapped. She and Zajfen then jumped up and down before hugging. Meanwhile, Harry, who remained seated, looked on and chuckled with amusement.

While Markle and Harry had both previously appeared to be supporting the former actress’s hometown team, Zajfen hinted that their loyalties were divided.

The Alliance of Moms founder shared Markle’s latest clip on her own Instagram Story, writing, “Best game ever!!! Sorry H your team didn’t win but mine diiiiiiiiid. @dodgers I LOVE YOU!!!!”

However, some of Markle’s critics on social media slammed her celebratory video as inauthentic.

“LOOKS SO FAKE,” one X user wrote along with a “Staged” GIF.

“So scripted,” added another along with a string of crying-laughing emojis.

“Load of performative fakery! She just so happened to have a camera set up,” one detractor wrote.

“This is irritating to see,” another added. “Fake AF. Of course it was NOT staged because, you know, the camera was perfectly positioned to capture everyone. Oh my gosh! Look how happy we are and so into each other. See, we have a friend and it’s not my bottle of wine.”

Another fan pointed to Zajfen’s post, noting, “He was a [Dodgers] fan the other day, but after the backlash, he’s now a Blue Jays fan. Pair of clowns.”

On Tuesday, Markle and Harry both rocked blue Dodgers caps as they attended Game 4 of the 2025 World Series at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.

While Markle is an LA native and a longtime Dodgers fan, Harry’s show of support for the team surprised some fans, who commented online that they believed that the royal should root for the Blue Jays due to Canada’s constitutional link to the United Kingdom.

While at the game, the couple color-coordinated their ensembles with Markle wearing a white button-down shirt with a navy sweater draped over her shoulders with dark pants, while Harry donned a navy blazer over a white T-shirt with dark trousers.

The couple were spotted seated in the front row behind home plate, ahead of baseball icon Sandy Koufax.

Harry and Markle’s seating placement drew ire from online critics as well as New York Mets broadcaster Howie Rose, who said Koufax shouldn’t take a back seat to anyone.

“How does Sandy end up in the second row?” Rose posted on X.

“Maybe those are his permanent, personal seats but Sandy Koufax takes a back seat to no one,” he added. “Especially at Dodger Stadium.”

Harry and Markle were also seated in the row ahead of NBA legend and Dodgers co-owner Magic Johnson.

Lump sum or annuity?

The major lotteries in the United States offer two jackpot payout options: annuity and cash.

The annuity option is paid out over time. There is an immediate payment and then 29 annual payments after that, increasing by 5% each year.

The cash option is significantly lower than the advertised jackpot, but it is paid in a lump sum. You don’t have to wait decades for all the money.

Can I win jackpot and remain anonymous?

In some states, like New Jersey, you can win a lottery anonymously. That wasn’t always the case, but now winners are able to stay anonymous under a law that was signed by Gov. Phil Murphy.

Kendall Jenner Makes Rare Comment on Caitlyn

Kendall Jenner admits she struggles to cope with Caitlyn Jenner’s vastly different views.

The model opened up about how she and her conservative-leaning parent don’t see eye to eye on “certain things” during Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

“I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my dad in a way,” Kendall explained in a confessional. “Because I love her and she is my dad. We have a good relationship, but sometimes I get frustrated with her with certain things.”

The 818 Tequila founder, 29, admitted that she and Caitlyn, 76, have “completely different views on things.”

“But other than that, I always want to include her,” Kendall noted. “I know she doesn’t have a lot outside of her family and I know she gets lonely.”

Kendall’s confession came after Caitlyn made her first cameo on the reality show in years.

It all went down after Kris Jenner invited her ex-husband to their former family home to say their goodbyes before putting it on the market.

“About an hour ago I called Caitlyn and I said, ‘What are you doing?’ Of course she said, ‘I’m eating dinner and watching Fox News,’” Kris explained to the cameras. “I said, ‘Of course you are.’”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner were excited to reunite with Caitlyn, but admitted they were surprised to see her.

“I definitely wasn’t expecting my dad to be here, just knowing the relationship my mom has with my dad. Not that it is bad, it is just distant,” Kendall said in the confessional.

Kylie agreed, adding, “I don’t know if my parents will ever be best friends again, but this is definitely a great first step.”

While Kendall didn’t specifically say that their differences were based on political views, Caitlyn has been open about her avid support for President Trump.

In April 2024, Caitlyn urged her followers to vote for Trump prior to his re-election into office.

“We must restore world peace by re-electing @TeamTrump,” she wrote on X at the time.

That same year, Caitlyn attended a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago hosted by the president’s wife, first lady Melania Trump.

Caitlyn has previously described Trump as “a long time friend” and a “class act, strong beyond belief, loyal and extraordinarily selfless.”

Kendall, for her part, has remained relatively quiet about her political views in recent years — though she did endorse Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton when she was running for office against Trump in 2016.

“History by @hillaryclinton. #MadeForHistory #ImWithHer,” she captioned a since-deleted Instagram post at the time.

Kendall’s family members have also kept mum about their political views — though Kim Kardashian famously met with Trump to discuss prison reform in 2018.

Mega Millions Jackpot: $754M Worth of Luxury

The Mega Millions jackpot shot up to $754 million this week — the ninth-largest prize in the lottery game’s history since it began in 2002. The largest Mega Millions jackpot was $1.6 billion in 2023.

The last jackpot claimed was in Virginia in June, when a lucky ticket holder won the $348 million prize. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday, and the $5 tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The next drawing is tonight at 11 p.m. ET.

While a sizable tax bill would knock down the jackpot’s amount considerably, we took a look and opted to use $754 million to illustrate the full scope of the prize.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in an Instagram post back in August, complete with pictures of a diamond engagement ring big enough to rival one of Kelce’s three Super Bowl rings.

“Taylor’s stone appears to be an antique elongated cushion, somewhere between eight to 10 carats,” New York City-based jeweler Stephanie Gottlieb told Yahoo. She estimated that a natural diamond of that size could range anywhere between $400,000 and $800,000.

Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds told InStyle that if Swift’s stone is a natural diamond between 10 and 12 carats with other quality features, it could be worth up to $1 million, while Kegan Fisher, cofounder and CEO of Frank Darling, estimated the ring’s worth at $750,000.

Yahoo went off the $750,000 estimate, a little more than halfway between the $400,000 to $1 million estimates. At that price, the Mega Millions jackpot winner could afford to buy 1,005 of Swift’s sparkling engagement rings.

A furry, stuffed monster with devious eyes and a wide, toothy, mischievous grin has become one of the world’s most coveted collectibles. The Labubu is what’s known as a “blind box” toy, which is a collectible figure sold in a concealed box, so the buyer has no idea what they’re getting.

One of the most expensive and rare Labubus sold for a record-breaking $10,500 on eBay back in August.

At that price, the winner of the $754 million Mega Millions jackpot could buy 71,809 of this type of rare Labubu.

Dubai chocolate bars skyrocketed to cultural prominence in late 2023 thanks to viral videos of influencers devouring the decadent milk chocolate treat that’s typically filled with creamy pistachio-tahini paste and a phyllo-like shredded pastry called kadayif. The treat was originally created in 2021 by Fix Dessert Chocolatier, based in the United Arab Emirates, and is still known as the “Can’t Get Knafeh Of It” bar.

At the time of the writing of this article, the price of one of the decadent bars on the Fix Dessert Chocolatier website was $40.57. The Mega Millions jackpot winner could have enough dough to buy 18,585,161 Dubai chocolate bars.

Prince William’s Ultimatum to Beatrice and Eugenie

NEED TO KNOW

  • A report places Prince William at the center of alleged pressure on Prince Andrew to move out of Royal Lodge, with speculation he may have urged Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to intervene
  • PEOPLE understands that no meeting between William and his cousins took place, and he does not have the authority to strip their royal titles — removing them would require an Act of Parliament
  • King Charles’ brother surrendered use of his royal titles and honors in a shocking move earlier this month amid renewed interest in his ties to Jeffrey Epstein

A new report places Prince William at the center of the alleged pressure on Prince Andrew, regarding his move from Royal Lodge, the mansion he has shared with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, since 2008, amid renewed scrutiny over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

On Oct. 27, journalist Emily Maitlis discussed the speculation on her podcast The News Agents that William may have urged his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to encourage their father to move out of Royal Lodge, with the alleged warning that their own titles could be reviewed. She said British broadcasters had been tipped off that something might be happening at Royal Lodge on Thursday night, prompting reporters — including a BBC helicopter — to go to the scene.

“There was a question over whether there had been, earlier in the day, a meeting between Prince William and the princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie, saying, ‘You guys have to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge, otherwise we will start re-examining the state of your own titles,’ ” she said.

“They are, at the moment, allowed to be princesses, but there was a bit of pressure, we understand, being put on the princesses to say, ‘You know, this is going to happen.’ Obviously, you can see why Andrew, as a father, would want to keep his daughters happy and keep their titles in place, come what may,” she continued.

PEOPLE understands that no such meeting took place between William and his cousins.

While Prince William, 43, holds significant influence as heir to the throne, he does not have the authority to strip his cousins of their royal titles. Removing Beatrice and Eugenie’s titles would require an Act of Parliament.

Maitlis also added that part of the tip-offs suggested King Charles was expected to be seen arriving at Royal Lodge, a move that would underline the monarch taking control of the situation. According to Maitlis, when helicopters and cameras were already on scene, the palace decided the moment had gotten too big and the plan was canceled.

“So what we learned what was going to happen on Thursday was that [Charles], fresh from the Vatican and his audience with the Pope, was going to come via Royal Lodge, to be seen, in other words, to be sort of reading the riot act to his brother. Nobody was going to film the conversation, clearly, no was going to see him stepping out the car, but there was going to be the moment, caught on camera, of King Charles’ car close to or heading towards Royal Lodge,” she said.

“What happened, I understand, was that the palace then got very nervous, and when they saw the choppers and helicopters, they thought, ‘This has all got too big, this has got out of control.’ They canceled the whole thing. The King just went straight home and never came by there,” Maitlis claimed.

Maitlis was the journalist who interviewed Prince Andrew, 65, for the BBC Newsnight interview in November 2019 about his involvement with Epstein and Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s allegations of abuse, which set his step back from public life in motion.

Prince Andrew is reportedly set to leave his longtime home of Royal Lodge after his Oct. 17 announcement that he will no longer use his Duke of York title or honors. The update came amid renewed interest around Andrew’s alleged connection to the late, disgraced Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial.

PEOPLE understands that Beatrice and Eugenie’s titles and positions are wholly unaffected as their father surrendered his royal titles, which won’t impede their attendance at future family events.

However, a recent report from The Sunday Times claimed that Prince William will take a tougher stance about distancing his disgraced uncle from royal life when he is king, including banning Andrew from both public and private royal events, including his coronation.

Harrison Ford Wins Field Museum Environmental Award

Framed by dinosaur fossils and elephant taxidermy, Harrison Ford recalled his childhood in suburban Chicago, spending his weekends at the Lincoln Park Zoo and wandering outdoors during his free time.

It was on one of those adventures in his neighborhood that he came face-to-face with a red fox, and that encounter led to a revelation, the actor and environmental activist said during a Field Museum conversation Wednesday evening.

“Then the fox left, and I walked away having discovered a connection to nature,” Ford said. “I knew that I was a part of nature.”

Ford, known for his roles as Han Solo in “Star Wars and Indiana Jones, has long been one of Hollywood’s most vocal advocates for the environment.

On Wednesday, he became the inaugural recipient of the Transformative Conservation Leadership award from the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, named after the renowned biologist known for his study of ants and human nature and for pioneering the field of biodiversity. Wilson died at age 92 in 2021.

The 83-year-old Ford has, since the 1990s, frequently lent his voice and platform to promote the protection of the environment and, in recent years, addressing climate change. He has appeared in and narrated documentaries and commercials on climate change and conservation, including a 2008 film on the biologist Wilson’s life.

“I’d like to see a new politics of nature, a politics for life,” Ford said. “An approach that is apolitical, intensely focused on the preservation of nature and confronting the challenge of climate change.”

Ford also serves as vice chair to the Virginia-based Conservation International, where he worked with Wilson. The organization works to preserve biodiversity worldwide, which Ford said on Wednesday helped him find his “real purpose.”

In recognition of that work, Wilson in 2002 named a new ant species Pheidole harrisonfordi after the actor.

“Harrison’s life is a conviction,” said Paula Ehrlich, the CEO and president of the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation.

The evening award ceremony also recognized David Willard with the Field Museum’s Parker/Gentry Award, which is given each year to individuals or groups for their on-the-ground work on preserving biodiversity and natural heritage.

Willard, a long-time bird researcher and curator at Field, has been documenting and studying the biodiversity of birds for decades, including compiling a database of migratory bird species along the Chicago lakefront. He has also been a fierce advocate for the city’s buildings to reduce bird strikes.

Willard’s work at Field, curating its bird collection, “has given him an exciting knowledge of the world’s birds, which he has shared in a humble, generous, and unmitigated fashion,” said Lesley de Souza, a conservation biologist at Field, who announced the award. “It is said that he has prepared more stations of birth specimens in his lifetime than any other person on earth.”

The award ceremony came after an afternoon of panel discussions on conservation and environmental leadership as part of the E.O. Wilson Foundation’s annual Half-Earth Day event, which started in 2017.

The “Half-Earth” principle, from Wilson’s 2016 book, proposes setting aside half of the Earth’s land and seas for nature. His foundation has supported research and projects toward this goal.

“For [Wilson], ‘Half-Earth’ was not just about solving the immense problem of extinction,” Ehrlich said. “It was also about finding an angle of repose. An angle of repose, where, having solved the problem, we could relax. An angle of repose between ourselves and nature.”

Kantishna M1.9 Earthquake | Alaska Earthquake Center

October 30, 2025 03:33:24 AKDT (October 30, 2025 11:33:24 UTC)

63.2086°N 151.322°W    Depth 7.0 miles (11 km)

A magnitude 1.9 earthquake was detected near Kantishna, Alaska, according to data reported by the Alaska Earthquake Center. The small tremor occurred at a shallow depth and was part of the routine seismic activity often observed in the region.

No damage or injuries were reported, and the earthquake was likely not felt by most residents due to its low magnitude. These minor seismic events are closely monitored as part of Alaska’s ongoing efforts to track and understand regional tectonic behavior.

Alaska experiences frequent small earthquakes because it sits on the boundary between the Pacific and North American tectonic plates. The Kantishna area, located near Denali National Park, is known for its minor to moderate seismic activity. Monitoring such events helps scientists improve earthquake forecasting and risk assessment across the state.

About the Alaska Earthquake Center

The Alaska Earthquake Center continuously records and analyzes seismic activity across the state, providing real-time data to researchers, emergency responders, and the public. Each recorded event contributes valuable insights into Alaska’s complex geology and seismic patterns.

Kantishna lies within a seismically active part of Alaska, where small earthquakes are common due to ongoing tectonic movement. These low-magnitude events are routinely monitored by the Alaska Earthquake Center to help scientists better understand the region’s fault systems and overall seismic patterns.

No reports of injury or damage were received following this event. Monitoring efforts continue as part of Alaska’s ongoing earthquake observation and research programs.

This event has not been reviewed by a seismologist

Metro Atlanta weather: Widespread rain Sunday into Monday

After a stretch of mild fall weather, North Georgia is in for a blustery and soggy start to the new week — with rain, strong winds, and much cooler temperatures settling in through midweek.

Rain overnight, sometimes heavy

What we know:

Rain chances will steadily increase through Monday, with gusty winds accompanying the showers.

“Some gusts could reach 25 to 30 miles an hour today, and even up to 35 in a few spots tomorrow morning — especially closer to the South Carolina state line,” Meteorologist Alex Forbes said.

Steadier rain develops overnight, creating what Forbes described as “fantastic sleeping weather, but horrible morning commute and bus stop weather.” He added, “Some of this rain could be heavy at times, particularly south of I-20, but we’re not expecting widespread thunderstorms.”

By Tuesday, the steadier rain will taper off to scattered showers, with cloudy skies and misty conditions likely to linger through midweek.

“We’ll see another shot of widespread rain Wednesday afternoon,” Forbes said. “Some of that could hang on into early or even midday Thursday before we finally clear out.”

Cool temperatures and gusty winds stick around

What we know:

The wedge pattern — a cool, damp, breezy setup typical for fall — will stay in place for several days. Highs Monday through Thursday will run 10 to 15 degrees below average, topping out near 60 in Atlanta and even cooler in the mountains.

“By and large, most of us will see between one and two inches of rain across north and central Georgia,” Forbes explained. “A few isolated spots could pick up closer to three inches, but that would be rare.”

Dry Halloween expected

What’s next:

Once the midweek system exits, skies will finally clear and conditions will improve heading into the weekend. “We’ll clear out entirely by the time we get to Halloween,” Forbes said. “A high temperature near 60 degrees means trick-or-treating temperatures likely in the 50s — cool, crisp, and classic fall weather.”

Police Hunt Sex Offender Seen on London Train After Release

A former asylum seeker who was released from prison in error after sexually assaulting a woman and a 14-year-old girl has been spotted boarding a London-bound train, Essex police said.

The deputy prime minister, David Lammy, said on Friday night Kebatu was now “at large in London” and the Metropolitan police was assisting in the search.

The Ethiopian national Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu was jailed for 12 months in September for sexual assault and made the subject of a five-year sexual harm prevention order.

The 41-year-old was meant to be sent to an immigration detention centre to be deported but was freed by mistake, it has emerged, and police in Essex are now urgently trying to find him.

Police confirmed Kebatu was seen catching a train at Chelmsford railway station at 12.41pm on Friday.

A statement from the force said: “We were informed by the Prison Service at 12.57pm today of an error this morning surrounding the release of an individual.

“As a result of that, we have launched a search operation to locate them and are working closely with partner agencies.

“We understand the concern the public would have regarding this situation and can assure you we have officers working to urgently locate and detain him.”

Keir Starmer, said he was “appalled” by the error. “This man must be caught and deported for his crimes,” he added.

Prison Service sources said the release was down to human error. It is understood the prison officer who authorised the release has been removed from duties while an urgent investigation takes place.

One prison source described it as a “disaster waiting to happen” because of the high volume of releases being processed by inexperienced staff, with dozens of prisoners serving different tariffs being released at the same time.

Recent law changes mean that foreign criminals such as Kebatu can be removed from England and Wales after serving a shorter sentence than domestic criminals. Kebatu was automatically eligible for immediate removal as soon as he was sentenced because of the time he had already spent on remand.

Lammy said there was “no excuse” for the mistaken release, but that Labour had inherited “a collapsing prison system”.

He said: “Let us be clear, we inherited a collapsing prison system in which the last government was releasing people early and which our prisons were overflowing.

“And, indeed, we have a sentencing bill in parliament seeking to address that issue, and we have stabilised the system.

“But that can be no excuse for wrongly releasing an individual, a dangerous individual, into the community.

It is understood he had been due to be flown back to Ethiopia “imminently” from the detention centre. Offenders who are subject to deportation are normally transferred by a secure prison van directly to the removal centre.

Kebatu was found guilty of committing two counts of sexual assault and one of attempted sexual assault in July, days after arriving in the UK on a small boat and taking up residence at the Bell hotel in Epping.

He was also found guilty of one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity and one count of harassment without violence, and has been in prison since 23 September.

His case triggered protests outside the Bell hotel, which far-right activists sought to exploit, leading to assaults on police officers and 32 arrests.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: “We are urgently working with police to return an offender to custody following a release in error at HMP Chelmsford.

“Public protection is our top priority and we have launched an investigation into this incident.”

The Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage, said: “The Epping hotel migrant sex attacker … is now walking the streets of Essex. Britain is broken.”

The shadow justice secretary, Robert Jenrick, said: “Remember: they told you that local mums who protested outside the hotel where this sex attacker stayed were the problem.”

Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, said: “It is disgraceful that a dangerous convicted paedophile who attacked a 14-year-old girl has been allowed to vanish. This despicable man is an illegal immigrant who should have been deported immediately he arrived.

“This is breathtaking incompetence by David Lammy and Shabana Mahmood [the home secretary]. They have put our children at further risk by letting this dangerous illegal immigrant out on to our streets. They are responsible for anything he may do.

“This should never have happened in the first place. Illegal immigrants ought to be deported within a week – but the Labour government is too weak to do that.

“Whether it’s a migrant who had been removed breaking back into the UK, the collapse of the rape gang inquiry, new China spying revelations, record illegal entries and now this – it’s been another litany of failure from the Home Office and home secretary this week.”The Liberal Democrat MP for Chelmsford, Marie Goldman, said she was struggling not to call for HMP Chelmsford’s governor to resign.
